Material Acts

Material Acts: Material Experimentation in Architecture and Design was presented by Craft Contemporary from September 28, 2024 to January 5, 2025 as part of Getty’s PST ART: Art & Science Collide. The exhibition and catalog survey material explorations inspired natural processes. These materials are organized into five acts: Re-Fusing, Stitching, Animating, Disassembling, and Feeding.

Material Acts is an ongoing project curated by Kate Yeh Chiu and Jia Yi Gu.
